CONFIRMATION PREP I

September 2022
Dear Parents and Young Adults,
We hope you and your families are well. We invite and welcome, our young adults wishing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, into our Confirmation Discipleship Prep I Program. Our Confirmation preparation is a two year program, Prep I for our 9th grade students and Prep II for our 10th grade students.
The Discipleship Prep I program will consist of:
*Parent and Confirmation Candidate Meeting Wednesday October 19, 2022
*Celebration of the Mass for Confirmation Candidates - Saturday 4:00 pm. once a month,
with a before and/or after Mass meeting.
There will be an important meeting on Wednesday October 19, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Parish, in the McShea Auditorium for parents and young adults. At this meeting we will talk about the Confirmation Program and discuss any questions you may have. At the bottom of this page are links to three papers: Confirmation Prep I Schedule, Sponsor Sheet and Baptismal Questions- About Your Baptism. The night of the October 19th meeting, we will discuss these papers, as well.
We feel this meeting is an essential part of the program, for you, our young adults to better understand the Sacrament of Confirmation and what it means to you in your lives.
We pray this year, as always, to be open to and guided by the Holy Spirit, as we grow together into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and as we strengthen our commitment to His teachings and a life of discipleship. We thank you for your support, encouragement, and prayers.
Sincerely
One in Christ,
Barbara Spink
Coordinator for Family Faith Discipleship
